The submissions to the 19th edition Al Ard Film Festival are now closed!

The call for submissions to the nineteenth edition of Al Ard Film Festival (#AAFF) welcomed documentaries (both feature-lenght and short) and short film of any genres/sub-genres (fiction, animation, experimental, etc) as long as they are about Palestine and/or the Arab world and are published from 2019 onwards.

The call closed up on 30th November 2022. The selection board is now watching and selecting among more than one hundred films that we received by filmmakers from all over the world. Once done, we will publish the list of the selected films here on our official website.

The film selected will be screened during the one-week festival in Cagliari (Sardinia), which, besides the films, includes filmmakers Q&A with the audience, exibitions, book presentations, an award ceremony, and a closing live concert.

In the upcoming 19th EDITION the film selected will be:

– Documentaries about Palestine and/or the Arab world: Features and short.
– Any other genres (Fiction, Animation, Experimental, etc) about Palestine and/or the Arab world: Short films only.

OVER €6000 IN AWARDS, with the first prize up to €1500 ($1600)!
