Welcome to Al Ard Film Festival! We are thrilled to present the twenty-first edition of one of the most popular European festivals focusing on Palestine and the Arab world.

To ensure a unique and engaging experience, we have created the following form, including a summary of the rules and regulations. Kindly read everything carefully before submitting your film.

Please remember that the rules and regulations included in the form below apply to all participants, and compliance is mandatory. Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in disqualification from the festival.

Al Ard Film Festival reserves the right to make any necessary changes to these rules, as deemed appropriate.

!important: Please use only the Roman alphabet (A-Z) when filling out the form. Do not use Arabic, Cyrillic, or Asian characters. Using these characters will cause an error, and the field will result empty, preventing you from submitting the form.

Eligibility
a) Films must have been released no earlier than 2020.
b) All submitted films must focus on Palestine or the Arab world as their main topic.
c) Films can be submitted regardless of their country of production or publication, as long as they address themes related to the Arab world and/or Palestine.
d) Documentary films are eligible whether they are feature-length or short; non-documentary films are eligible only if they are short.
I confirm the submitted film is eligible as it complies with points (a), (b) and (c)

a) Best Long Feature Documentary (prize: €2000,00)
b) Best Short Feature Documentary (prize: €1000,00)
c) Best Non-documentary Short film (prize: €1000,00)
d) Audience Award [any one among the cateogories above can win this Award] (prize: €1000,00)

Submission Fee
No registration fee is required to participate in the 21st Edition of Al Ard Film Festival I acknowledge that the submission of films to Al Ard Film Festival is free of charge

Screening Fees
Al Ard Film Festival does NOT pay any kind of fees for the films selected in the Competition. Asking for fees will result in the exclusion of the film from the festival. I acknowledge that Al Ard Film Festival will not pay fees to screen the film during the festival, should it be selected

Filmmaker Attendance
We invite all filmmakers whose films pass the selection process to attend the festival in person. However, please note that Al Ard Film Festival cannot guarantee any financial assistance for travel or accommodation expenses. I acknowledge that Al Ard Film Festival cannot guarantee financial assistance for travel and accomodation expenses

Submission Deadline
All film submissions must be received by October 10th, 2024. Submissions received after the deadline will not be considered. I acknowledge that my film will not be considered if submitted after 10-October-2024

Rights, Copyright and Data Storage
a) I have obtained all necessary rights and permissions for the film's screening and distribution
b) no fees will be paid to me or any other third party for the screening of the film during the festival
c) I consent to the collection, processing, and storage of my personal data as outlined in the Privacy Policy at https://alardfilmfestival.com/privacy
I agree on points a) b) and c).

I understand that the film will be excluded from the festival without notice if I fail to comply with any of the aforementioned conditions.
