From August 11 to October 31, 2025, the Al Ard Film Festival (AAFF) invites filmmakers from around the globe to submit their works for our 22nd edition.

For the first time, AAFF has decided to list its call for entries on FilmFreeway, the industry’s most trusted platform for filmmakers and festivals. After years of welcoming entries through our own channels, this move makes it easier than ever to send us your film: faster, safer, and open to an even wider international audience, while staying true to our mission of championing Palestinian and Arab stories.

And yes – it’s free. No submission fees, as always.

We’re looking for stories that explore Palestinian and Arab social realities, or broader issues connected to the Arab world, in form of Documentaries (feature & short) or Non-documentaries (shorts only, any genre)

Please note:

• Films previously selected for AAFF are not eligible.

Selected films will be showcased in Cagliari, Sardinia, alongside director talks, workshops, and events designed to spark cultural exchange.
