Saida Hamad is an accomplished journalist, educator, advocate, and media producer, dedicated to promoting equality, gender empowerment, justice, and inclusive narratives. Thanks to her strong academic background, extensive professional experience, and a creative flair for media production, she has made significant contributions in addressing societal challenges and fostering positive change.
Laura Menchaca Ruiz is a multimodal anthropologist, educator and media maker whose work focuses on everyday resilience and is grounded in collaborative, participant-led production that challenges dominant narratives and structures of representation. Her creative work has been screened at international festivals and online platforms including AfroPoP Digital Shorts, BronzeLens Film Festival, and Latino Film Festival Philadelphia.
