The submissions for the 20th edition of Al Ard Film Festival are now closed.

Thank you to all the filmmakers from around the world who submitted their documentaries and short films about Palestine and/or the Arab world. The call closed on December 30, 2023, and the selection board is currently reviewing dozens of entries.

Stay tuned as we will soon announce the selected films on our official website.

The chosen films will be showcased during our one-week festival in Cagliari, Sardinia. The event includes filmmaker Q&A sessions, exhibitions, book presentations, an award ceremony, and a closing live concert.

In the 20th edition, selected films include documentaries about Palestine and/or the Arab world (features and shorts) and other genres (Fiction, Animation, Experimental, etc.) specifically short films.
