Associazione Amicizia Sardegna Palestina proudly presents the 19th edition of Al Ard Film Festival — a film festival about Palestine and the Arab world.
We are pleased to announce that the call for submissions for the 19th edition of Al Ard Film Festival (#AAFF) is now open!
How does it work?
This nineteenth edition of Al Ard Film Festival (#AAFF) will welcome documentaries (both feature-lenght and short) and short films of any genres/sub-genres (fiction, animation, experimental, etc.) as long as they are about Palestine and/or the Arab world, and are published from the year 2019 onwards.
Worldwide filmmakers are invited to submit their work to the AAFF. Your works go through a selection with the chance to take part in the one-week festival in Cagliari, Sardinia, which will have screenings, Q&A sessions with the audience, an awards ceremony, a closing live concert and much more!
Furthermore, there will be so many opportunities to network with other filmmakers, producers, and artists!In the previous editions we had guests such as Mai Masri, Mohammed Alatar, Ibrahim Nasrallah, Wisam Al Jafari, Kasim Abid, Emily Jacir and many many more!
Multiple prizes will be awarded by a Jury of experts, the audience and the organisers, with a prize pool over $5000!

The following contributions are welcome for the upcoming 19th EDITION of #AAFF:
- Long and short documentaries about Palestine and/or the Arab world.
- Short films of any genres (including fiction, animation, experimental, etc.) about Palestine and/or the Arab world.
All movies that meet the aforementioned requirements and were released no earlier than 2019 are more than welcome!
THERE IS NO AGE LIMIT ON SUCCESS! WE ARE ACCEPTING SUBMISSIONS FROM ALL AGES, WORLDWIDE!
