The documentary centres on the memory of the photojournalist Mahfouz Abu Turk and the archive through which he documented the events he experienced in the city of Jerusalem and the West Bank from the first Intifada 1987 to the events that followed until the end of the nineties. Moreover, it focuses on the Palestinians’ daily lives and on the suffering of the photojournalist who had to face oppression, abuse and the attempt to silence him.

Hayat Laban is a Palestinian filmmaker from Jerusalem who graduated from the Dar Al-Kalima Film School in Bethlehem. In her work she always uses archives, often focusing on memory, particularly about life in Jerusalem, addressing the themes of art, theatre, image, memory and memories and what the Jerusalemite and Palestinian people are exposed to due to the occupation. Besides, she also interns as a director, screenwriter, camerawoman, editor on other films, and photographer to document training workshops in Jerusalem and the West Bank.
