Over the course of a year, he navigates the material and psychological remains of survival, memory, and the haunting absence.

Mahmoud Abu Ghalwa is a Paris-based filmmaker and creative director with over 15 years of experience in documentary, fiction, and animation. He has held key production roles at organizations such as UNRWA TV, Misbar, and Doha+, where he oversaw the creation of analytical and human-centered visual content. His work focuses on themes of displacement, conflict, and memory, and has been screened internationally and received several awards. Notable projects include Paper Boat, Nuseirat: The Hostage Massacre (2016), alongside ongoing productions such as Sawa Sawa, Sole Survivors, and The Drone.
